Well…this trip wasn’t exactly spooky except for the fact that barely anyone was at the zoo…very unusual compared to my past experiences! For my education class, we had the amazing opportunity to go the Pittsburgh Zoo on Halloween for our class time. It was exciting to learn in the educational building and get a “behind the scenes” tour. I even got to pet a penguin. Adorable! This little creature loved the attention! So many beautiful animals. I finally saw a polar bear swim. Unbelievable. The sea lions played with festive, float pumpkin toy in the water.
